Where did the time go???

I've been a little busy lately and haven't had time to blog. Since I've been gone, I've gotten measured for my cap and gown (WEIRD), made graduation plans with the fam at 208 (my favorite), gone out a little...and by a little I mean almost everynight (but whose judging). Oh yeah, almost forgot a major detail.....WE WON DERBY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For those of you who don't know or don't understand just how BIG of a deal this is, let me just give you a little background...

Derby Day is a week long party event put on by Sigma Chi to raise money for their philanthropy. Anyway...DG has one literally like 20 time. we won 5 years in a row before my freshman year and then we have won the past two years in a row. By win, I don't mean we just win...we DOMINATE. Everyone (including all the Seniors) participate and go all out. It's awesome and we are incredible and intense.

Anyway, I have less than 3 weeks left of college. Yes, I will still be here for the next year, but a lot of my friends will be in different places. I can't believe it's almost over! Starting last week, all of the seniors started a new Thursday night tradition...we go to someone's house or out to eat for dinner and pregame before we go to the square. Last week was intense and TOO MUCH FUN. This week the junior girls are throwing us a senior dinner party at Phillips Grocery on the patio. I CANNOT wait. If it is half as fun as last week, then it should be a pretty good time.

That's all I have time for tonight. I'm babysitting Charlie tonight...but that's a whole other story for another day.

I've always tried (and failed) to keep a journal or a notebook so I can look back one day and remember all the fun, stupid and crazy things I've done with my friends...so I'm going to try this again  (and hopefully last more than a week).

I can't believe I have less than 2 months until I graduate...it seems like last week I was moving into Martin and meeting new friends. I really don't know where I'd be without these girls (and Robert!) I LOVE THEM!
I really don't know what I will do without being able to see them every single day, no matter what time it is. Even though we are all doing something different, I am sure our love of everything football and baseball will bring us back together throughout these next few years...
